Second defeat of league's leader Vardar (9-2) against second ranked KAM Basket (9-2) 77-58 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vardar. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Vardar. Vardar will play next round against strong MZT trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena of MZT. KAM Basket will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Grizli in Kumanovo.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked MZT (8-3) against seventh ranked Probasket (4-7) on Saturday night. Visiting MZT was defeated by Probasket in a tough game in Kavadartsi 73-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MZT. Probasket moved-up to sixth place. MZT at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Probasket will play against higher ranked Kriva Palanka (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MZT's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Vardar.
Bottom-ranked Struga 2009 is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to fourth ranked Kriva Palanka (6-5) 71-38 on Saturday evening. Kriva Palanka have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-5 record. Loser Struga 2009 still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Kriva Palanka will meet at home Probasket (#6) in the next round. Struga 2009 will play against Badel in Skopje and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 12 Badel was beaten by Grizli on the road 75-71.
