Prva A Liga Round 19 (Regular Season): Grizli defeat KAM Basket

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked KAM Basket (15-3) in Kumanovo on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Grizli (11-7) 76-61. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of KAM Basket. Grizli have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 11-7 record. Defending champion KAM Basket still keeps top position with three games lost. Grizli are looking forward to face league's second-placed Vardar in Skopje in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KAM Basket will play at home against Probasket and is hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked Struga 2009 is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 18th consecutive match to third ranked MZT (12-6) 77-42. MZT maintains third place with 12-6 record having just three points less than leader KAM Basket. Struga 2009 lost their eighteenth game in a row. They still close the standings. MZT will play against Kriva Palanka (#5) at home in the next round. Struga 2009 will play against Badel and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Palanka was also quite interesting. Second ranked Vardar (13-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Kriva Palanka (9-9). Vardar did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 80-62 on Sunday. The victory was the third consecutive win for Vardar.
