Prva A Liga Round 3 of Regular Season

There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Prva A Liga and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

First defeat of league's leader Ohrid (2-1) against Sport Tim (2-1) 67-41 was the most important game of the last round. Ohrid will play next round against strong Struga 2009 trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Sport Tim will try to continue on its current victory against Ponikva on the road.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Vardar (2-1) in Skopje. Hosts were edged by Kriva Palanka (3-0) 98-96. Kriva Palanka will play against Grizli (#7) in Kumanovo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Vardar will play on the road against KAM Basket (#1) in Kamenica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also tough home defeat of Rinia in a game versus Shkupi (#5) 63-52. Shkupi will meet at home Gostivar (#5) in the next round. Rinia will play against Janbor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: winless Ponikva was smashed by Gostivar on the road 61-37. Janbor lost to undefeated Struga 2009 on its own court 37-76. MZT unfortunately lost to Patriot in a road game 62-72. Winless Probasket lost to defending champion KAM Basket at home 58-89.

Gostivar - Ponikva 61-37

Gostivar used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from 61-37 on Saturday night. Gostivar will meet Shkupi (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ponikva will play against Sport Tim (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Janbor - Struga 2009 37-76

Very expected game when Janbor (1-2) was smashed at home by Struga 2009 (3-0) 76-37 on Saturday. Struga 2009 will meet at home Ohrid (#4) in the next round. Janbor will play against Rinia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Patriot - MZT 72-62

There was a small surprise when Patriot (1-2) won against at home MZT (1-2) 72-62 on Sunday. Patriot will meet Badel (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MZT will play against Probasket and hope to win that game.

Probasket - KAM Basket 58-89

Not a big story in a game when Probasket (0-3) was outscored by KAM Basket (3-0) in Kavadartsi 89-58 on Saturday. KAM Basket will meet at home Vardar (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Probasket will play against MZT (#6) in Skopje and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Rinia - Shkupi 52-63

An interesting game was also tough home defeat of Rinia in a game versus Shkupi (#5) 63-52. Shkupi will meet at home Gostivar (#5) in the next round. Rinia will play against Janbor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Sport Tim - Ohrid 67-41
