Kriva Palanka lands Valicia Demeritte and Simona Delovska- February 2, 2025

KK Kriva Palanka (Prva A Liga) strengthened their roster with additions of 25-year old Bahamas ex-international forward Valicia Demeritte (175cm-2000, college: Coker) and 32-year old point guard Simona Delovska (168cm-1992). Demeritte supposed to play at Jedinstvo in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Dec.'24. In 8 games she recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.1apg and 1.8spg this season.
She was also a member of Bahamas international program for some years. Demeritte played for Bahamas Senior National Team between 2018 and 2022 and previously for U17 National Team back in 2017. She represented Bahamas at the FIBA Caribbean Women's Championship in Havana (Cuba) three years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 5 games: 5.6ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.2apg, FGP: 41.4%, FT: 66.7%. Demeritte graduated from Coker College in 2023 and it is her second season as a professional player. Simona Delovska has played for the last eight seasons at Vardar. She helped them to make it to the North Macedonian League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Delovska has spent her entire career in North Macedonia playing for three teams: Vardar, Panteri and Lotos. The list of achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Macedonian League Guard of the Year back in 2015.
