Prva A Liga Round 13 (Regular Season): Vardar edge Badel by two points

The most exciting game of round 13 in the Prva A Liga took place in Skopje. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Badel (7-4) to fourth ranked Vardar (7-5) 79-77 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Badel. Vardar maintains fourth place with 7-5 record. Badel at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Vardar are looking forward to face Patriot (#6) in the next round. Badel will play against the league's second-placed Kriva Palanka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Gostivar supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Rinia (4-7) played at the court of sixth ranked Gostivar (4-7). Gostivar smashed Rinia 76-42. Gostivar moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Rinia. Rinia lost fifth consecutive game. Gostivar will play against league's second-placed Struga 2009 on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rinia will play against the league's leader Sport Tim and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Kavadartsi supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Patriot (2-9) played at the court of seventh ranked Probasket (2-10). Probasket did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 74-54 on Sunday. Probasket maintains seventh place with 2-10 record. Patriot lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Probasket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Patriot will play against Vardar (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 13 MZT was crushed by Kriva Palanka in a road game 86-52.

Kriva Palanka keeps a position of league leader, which they share with KAM Basket. MZT lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with nine games lost. Kriva Palanka will meet Badel (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. MZT will play against the league's leader KAM Basket and hope to secure a win.

Probasket - Patriot 74-54
