Maribor adds Thompson to their roster, ex Badel

Destiny Thompson

AJM Maribor (SKL) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Destiny Thompson (180cm-1997, college: Georgian Court). She played most recently at Badel in North Macedonian Prva A Liga. The previous (2022-23) season she played at ZKK Vojvodina 021 Novi Sad in Serbian 1 ZLS where in 24 games she recorded 8.1ppg and 6.4rpg in that year. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention. Thompson also played 18 games in WABA where she averaged 8.6ppg and 6.4rpg in that year.
She has played professionally in Serbia (ZKK Spartak Subotica) and Serbia as well.
Thompson graduated from Georgian Court University in 2019 and it'll be her seventh season as a pro player.
