Bonner comes back to Mercury- July 8, 2025
In 2009, she was selected by the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) as the 5th overall pick. She graduated from Auburn University and it'll be her 18th season in pro basketball. Bonner is a highly experienced player. Thanks to Bonner's pro career, she has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in nine different countries. She has played professionally in China (Sports Lottery), Hungary (Szekszard), Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Russia (Dynamo Kursk and Nadezhda), Spain (Avenida), Turkey (Mersin), the WNBA team Connecticut Sun, Czech Republic (USK Praha), and Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe). Among many awards, her team won the Turkish Cup in 2022. Bonner was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention back in 2022. It's very possible she may end her playing career at Mercury.
