Matea Nikolic joins Alcamo

Matea Nikolic

A.D. Basket Alcamo (Serie A2) has agreed terms with 23-year-old North Macedonian international forward Matea Nikolic (190cm-2002, college: Kansas) for the new 2025-26 season. She will remain in Italy, where she played last season at Brixia Basket Brescia (Serie A1). In 22 games, she averaged just 2.9ppg and 1.5rpg. Serie A2 will be a better fit for her, and she is expected to see more playing time. During the 2023-24 season, she played for another Italian team, Passalacqua Ragusa (Serie A1). She has been a regular member of the North Macedonian Senior National Team since 2023.
Nikolic has played for another Italian team, RO SAzzurra, before.
She attended the University of Kansas until 2022, and it will be her fourth season as a pro player.
