KAM Basket smashed Badel in Kamenica 73-53. KAM Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Badel's 22. KAM Basket forced 20 Badel turnovers. It was a great shooting night for KAM Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Badel's players. The best player for the winners was the former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). produced 26 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Badel will play next round against Sport Tim trying to get back on the winning streak. KAM Basket will try to continue on its current victory against Kriva Palanka on the road.
Another exciting game where Probasket edged by three points Sport Tim 78-75. Sport Tim was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds. Milica Jovanovic contributed with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Probasket's coach Atanas Dimov allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) replied with 23 points and 5 rebounds for Sport Tim. Probasket will play against Patriot in the next round. Sport Tim will play against Badel in Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Skopje supposed to be also quite interesting. Kriva Palanka played at the court of MZT. Kriva Palanka smashed MZT 78-48 on Wednesday. Alexis Poole had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners. Vanja Milosavljevikj responded with 8 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kriva Palanka will meet at home KAM Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MZT's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Vardar.
