Best players of North Macedonian Prva A Liga round 2 (by Hoops Agents)

American Alexis Poole (188-F-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best KK Kriva Palanka and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 26-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team MZT (#6, 0-2) with 30-point margin 78-48. Kriva Palanka is placed at 2nd position in North Macedonian Prva A Liga. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Kriva Palanka won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Poole turned to be Kriva Palanka's top player in her first season with the team. Kennesaw State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Poole is in league's top in points (3rd best: 28.5ppg), rebounds (4th best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg,3.5spg and 78.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Kayla Thomas (188-F-2003) of Probasket Akademija. Thomas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds. It was enough for Probasket to edge Sport Tim (0-2) by 3 points 78-75. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Thomas is a newcomer at Probasket and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.0ppg (#2). She also registered 18.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-C-1995) of top-ranked KAM Basket Kamenica. Kmetovska scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of KAM Basket, leading her team to a 73-53 easy win against #4 ranked Badel in a game of the week. KAM Basket has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Kmetovska also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Kmetovska has a great season in North Macedonia. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.5rpg (3rd best) and assists with 4.5apg (6th best).
