Best players of North Macedonian Prva A Liga round 5 (by Hoops Agents)

American Alexis Poole (188-F-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best KK Kriva Palanka and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 26-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds, while her team crushed Probasket (#5, 3-2) with 23-point margin 82-59. Kriva Palanka is placed at 2nd position in North Macedonian Prva A Liga. They are still close to the very top. Kriva Palanka would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Poole turned to be Kriva Palanka's top player in her first season with the team. Kennesaw State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Poole is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.6ppg. Poole is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,2.2spg and 76.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Kriva Palanka's star - young American point guard Da'Ja Green (169-PG-1999). Green impressed basketball fans with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course together with Poole she helped KK Kriva Palanka with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Probasket (#5, 3-2) 82-59. This victory allowed Kriva Palanka to move up to second position in the standings. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Green is a newcomer at Kriva Palanka and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.2ppg (#8). Her other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 6.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was Sara Mitanovska (2010) of ZKK Sport Tim (#6). Mitanovska scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Sport Tim, leading her team to a 57-50 win against Patriot (#8, 0-5). Sport Tim can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Mitanovska has individually a great season in North Macedonia. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.6rpg (4th best).
