Tasevska number one in North Macedonia Prva A Liga for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

International Elena Tasevska (186-SF-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for ZKK Vardar Skopje, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Badel (#4, 4-3) 85-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Vardar maintains the 3rd position in North Macedonian Prva A Liga. They are still close to the very top. Vardar would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Tasevska had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Vardar, through which she has constantly improved. Elena Tasevska has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.3ppg) and averages impressive 1.6bpg,2.7spg and 54.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Lindsey Cleary (183-F-1997) of KK Badel 1862 Skopje. Cleary had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Badel lost that game 74-85 to slightly higher-ranked Vardar (#3, 6-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Badel still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Cleary is a newcomer at Badel, but is already one of team's top players. Former Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College star Cleary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Glorija Gruevska (173-SG-2009) of league's top team KK Kriva Palanka. Gruevska got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. She went also for six assists. She was a key player of Kriva Palanka, leading her team to a 97-51 easy win against the lower-ranked Sport Tim (#7, 1-6). Kriva Palanka confirms their top position in the standings. Gruevska has a great season in North Macedonia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.0apg (6th best).
