The most exciting game of round 8 in the Prva A Liga took place in Skopje. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Badel (4-4) to fifth ranked Probasket (4-4) 76-75 in the game for the fourth place. Probasket outrebounded Badel 40-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Glorija Gruevska contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Kriva Palanka's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. replied with 10 points and 8 rebounds for Patriot. Kriva Palanka (7-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position, which they share with Vardar and KAM Basket. Vardar have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kriva Palanka and KAM Basket. Sport Tim lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Vardar will meet at home bottom-ranked Patriot (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KAM Basket forced 21 MZT turnovers and outrebounded them 44-26 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Sanja Adamovska who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals and Cvetanka Dimova who added 24 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and Amari Heard scored 16 points and 4 assists.
