An interesting game for KAM Basket (8-1) which played road game in Skopje against 4th placed Badel (4-5). Third ranked KAM Basket had an easy win 81-64. KAM Basket forced 21 Badel turnovers. It was a good game for the former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. contributed with 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. KAM Basket's coach Tony Simic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. answered with 16 points and 5 assists for Badel. KAM Basket have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Vardar and Kriva Palanka. Badel lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. KAM Basket is looking forward to face league's leader Kriva Palanka at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and Abby Niehues chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was the former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) with 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kriva Palanka have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Vardar and KAM Basket. MZT at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Kriva Palanka will play against league's second-placed KAM Basket in Kamenica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Elena Tasevska nailed a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals for the winning side. Vardar's coach Aleksandar Asadanov felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Sara Atanasovska came up with 12 points for Patriot in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Vardar. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kriva Palanka and KAM Basket. Patriot lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Vardar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena MZT.
