Poole's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Alexis Poole (188-F-1999) had a great game in the last round for league's best team KK Kriva Palanka and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed MZT (#6, 2-7) with 35-point margin 83-48. It allowed Kriva Palanka to consolidate first place in the North Macedonian Prva A Liga. Kriva Palanka have a solid 8-1 record. Poole turned to be Kriva Palanka's top player in her first season with the team. Kennesaw State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Poole is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.2ppg. Poole is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 2.7spg and 77.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Elena Tasevska (186-SF-2002) of ZKK Vardar Skopje. She is international in her 3rd season at Vardar. In the last game Tasevska recorded an impressive triple-double of 20 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course she led Vardar to another comfortable win outscoring Patriot (#8, 0-9) 136-35. Despite this victory Vardar slide down in the standings to 3rd position. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 8 matches. Tasevska is one of the most experienced players at Vardar and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#7). Her other stats are also decent: 7.9rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Milica Jovanovic (2003) of Probasket Akademija (#4). Jovanovic showcased her all-around game by recording 29 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Probasket, leading her team to a 84-63 easy win against the lower-ranked Sport Tim (#7, 1-8). Probasket needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Jovanovic has a great season in North Macedonia. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (5th best) and assists with 6.2apg (3rd best). She also has 2.8spg and a FGP of 55.8%.
