Kmetovska number one in North Macedonia Prva A Liga for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Ivana Kmetovska (190-C-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked KAM Basket Kamenica, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, eight rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush Kriva Palanka (#2, 8-2) with 16-point margin 69-53. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed KAM Basket to consolidate first place in the North Macedonian Prva A Liga. KAM Basket has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. Kmetovska has many years of experience at KAM Basket, through which she has constantly improved. Former Washington State University star has very solid stats this year. Kmetovska is in league's top in points (8th best: 15.7ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.9rpg), assists (5th best: 4.1apg) and averages impressive 52.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Marija Nikolov (172-F-2005) of KK Badel 1862 Skopje. Nikolov had a very good evening with 28 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course she led Badel to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Sport Tim (#7, 1-9) 99-52. Badel's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Nikolov is well-known at Badel and is a proven leader in her second season with the team. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.6ppg (#9). She also recorded 6.2 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Amari Heard (183-SF) of ZKK MZT Skopje (#6). Heard scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of MZT, leading her team to a 67-51 easy win against the higher-ranked Vardar (#3, 8-2). The chances of MZT not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Heard could try to bring MZT's a little bit higher in the standings. Heard has a very solid season. In 3 games in North Macedonia she scored 16.3ppg.
