The game between second ranked Kriva Palanka (10-3) and fourth ranked Badel (8-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Kriva Palanka was defeated by Badel in Skopje 66-52. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kriva Palanka. Badel forced 21 Kriva Palanka turnovers and outrebounded them 48-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Badel looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Lindsey Cleary (183-1997, college: CMS) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and her fellow American import guard Arin Freeman (170, college: UIC) chipped in 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Badel's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American Abby Niehues (186-1999, college: S.Nazarene, agency: DC Sports) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Badel have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 8-5 record, which they share with Probasket. Kriva Palanka at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Badel's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Vardar.

American forward Kayla Thomas (188-2003, college: MSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Milica Jovanovic accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Probasket's coach Atanas Dimov allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international forward Milica Nikolic (188-2006) came up with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for Vardar in the defeat. Probasket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Badel. Vardar at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Probasket will play against league's leader KAM Basket in Kamenica in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vardar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Badel.
Prva A Liga top team - KAM Basket (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Patriot (1-12) 86-66. Ivana Kmetovska fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. KAM Basket's coach Tony Simic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Tymberlin Criswell produced 21 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-2 record. Loser Patriot keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Sport Tim. KAM Basket will meet at home Probasket (#5) in the next round. Patriot will play against MZT in Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 13 MZT won against Sport Tim on the opponent's court 75-59.

KAM Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Patriot's 32. They outrebounded Patriot 45-27 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. KAM Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Cvetanka Dimova (177-1998) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Five KAM Basket players scored in double figures. Rather expected game when 8th ranked Sport Tim (1-12) was defeated at home by sixth ranked MZT (4-9) 75-59 on Sunday. MZT forced 19 Sport Tim turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Crystal Corley (175, college: Morehead St.) fired 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Her fellow American import Amari Heard (183, college: SSU) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Four MZT players scored in double figures. MZT's coach Goran Krstevski used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Ana Lukic produced 21 points and 8 assists and Sara Mitanovska (-2010) added 7 points and 18 rebounds respectively for lost side. MZT maintains sixth place with 4-9 record. Sport Tim lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. They share it with Patriot. MZT will meet at home Patriot (#7) in the next round. Sport Tim will play against the league's second-placed Kriva Palanka and hope to win that game.
