Kmetovska number one in North Macedonia Prva A Liga for round 13

International Center Ivana Kmetovska (190-C-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked KAM Basket Kamenica, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 19 rebounds, while her team crushed Patriot (#7, 1-12) with 20-point margin 86-66. It allowed KAM Basket to consolidate first place in the North Macedonian Prva A Liga. KAM Basket have a solid 11-2 record. In the team's last game Kmetovska had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at KAM Basket, through which she has constantly improved. Former Washington State University star has very solid stats this year. Kmetovska is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.7rpg), assists (9th best: 3.8apg) and averages impressive 54.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Kayla Thomas (188-F-2003) of Probasket Akademija. Thomas had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds. It was enough for Probasket to edge slightly higher-ranked Vardar (#3, 9-4) 83-78. Probasket's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Thomas is a newcomer at Probasket, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.2ppg (#2). She also registered 13.2 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Crystal Corley (175-G) of ZKK MZT Skopje (#6). Corley scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of MZT, leading her team to a 75-59 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sport Tim (#8, 1-12). The chances of MZT not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Corley could try to bring MZT's a little bit higher in the standings. Corley has individually a great season in North Macedonia. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (7th best).
