Fifth-ranked Probasket (8-6) made lots of trouble for first ranked KAM Basket (12-2) in Kamenica on Friday. KAM Basket managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Cvetanka Dimova (177-1998) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international swingman Katerina Pop-Dimitrovska (175-2001) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Kayla Thomas (188-2003, college: MSU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the guests. Probasket's coach Atanas Dimov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record. Probasket at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Skopje: Badel (#4) and Vardar (#3). Vardar was defeated at home 58-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The former international forward Marija Nikolov (172-2005) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Lindsey Cleary contributed with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international Elena Tasevska (186-2002) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for Vardar. Badel (9-5) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Vardar.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Palanka. Local Kriva Palanka (11-3) beat 8th ranked Sport Tim (1-13) 83-65 on Thursday night. Dyani Robinson scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners. Kriva Palanka's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sara Mitanovska responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. Kriva Palanka maintains second position with 11-3 record behind leader KAM Basket. Sport Tim lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Patriot.
In the last game of round 14 Patriot was defeated by MZT in Skopje 74-66.
