The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of KAM Basket (13-3) in Kamenica on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Kriva Palanka (13-3) 64-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of KAM Basket. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Dyani Robinson (170-2001, college: N.Texas) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard DaJa Green (169-1999, college: ECU) who added 9 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Cvetanka Dimova (177-1998) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Kriva Palanka have a solid three-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after KAM Basket lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position which they share with defeated KAM Basket. Kriva Palanka is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Sport Tim (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KAM Basket will play against Badel (#3) in Skopje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Skopje: Vardar (#4) and MZT (#6). MZT was smashed at home by 21 points 59-80 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The winners were led by the former international forward Milica Nikolic (188-2006) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Elena Tasevska supported her with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 24 points and 8 rebounds by American guard Crystal Corley (175, college: Morehead St.) did not help to save the game for MZT. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vardar (11-5) moved-up to third place, which they share with Badel. MZT at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Vardar will play against Patriot (#7) in the next round. MZT will play against Probasket in Kavadartsi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Badel's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tymberlin Criswell produced 30 points for lost side. Badel have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Vardar. Patriot lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Sport Tim. Badel will meet at home league's leader KAM Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Patriot will play against Vardar (#4) in Skopje and hope to win that game.
In the last game of round 16 Probasket won against Sport Tim on the opponent's court 79-75.
