Best players of Norwegian BLNO round 3 (by Hoops Agents)

Australian Will Cranston-Lown (185-G/F-2000, agency: Dominion Sports Group) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Ammerud Basket Oslo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old swingman got a double-double of 42 points and 12 assists, while his team beat Tromso (#6, 2-3) 117-107. It allowed Ammerud to consolidate first place in the Norwegian BLNO. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Ammerud already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cranston-Lown had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Ammerud's top player in his first season with the team. Regis University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cranston-Lown is in league's top in points (3rd best: 28.3ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg,76.7% FGP and 46.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Garrett Denbow (198-G-2000) of Tromso Storm. Denbow impressed basketball fans with 39 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Tromso lost that game 107-117 to Ammerud (3-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Denbow is a newcomer at Tromso and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 36.7ppg (#1). He also registered 8.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Filip Overas (208-F) of Baerum Basket Bekkestua (#7). Overas scored 29 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Baerum, leading his team to a 93-83 win against Centrum (#8, 1-3). The chances of Baerum not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Overas could try to bring Baerum's a little bit higher in the standings. Overas has individually a great season in Norway.
