Olympic Games: USA ease past Serbia into seventh straight Final

USA ensured the seventh straight appearance in the Olympic basketball tournament Final. They knocked down Serbia in the first semifinal of the day in Tokyo. Brittney Griner (203-C-90, college: Baylor, agency: Wasserman) posted 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners.
USA set the tone early in the game. The North American team piled up a 25-12 lead after ten minutes. USA held Serbia to just 11 points in the second term to take a 41-23 halftime lead. USA kept Serbia at bay throughout the third term. They entered the final quarter up by 19 points and rallied to the victory. Chelsea Gray (180-PG-92, college: Duke) delivered 14 points for USA. Yvonne Anderson (170-G-90, college: Texas) responded with 15 points for Serbia.
