Mykyta Yalovenko gets MVP of the Week award for Polish 2Liga

Ukrainian Mykyta Yalovenko (200-F/C) had a very impressive game in the last round for KS Buty Nie Graja Kutno and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents 2Liga Player of the Week award for round 5.
The power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Wloclawek (#16, 0-5) with 46-point margin 105-59. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings in Group A. Kutno is placed at 10th position in Polish 2Liga. Kutno is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. Yalovenko turned to be Kutno's top player in his first season with the team. Mykyta Yalovenko averages this season 13.8ppg and 8.6rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Aleksander Konieczny (197-F-2009) of SKM Zastal Zielona Gora. Konieczny impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for SKM ZG to edge the lower-ranked Gorzow Wlkp. (#9, 2-3) by 3 points 80-77. This victory allowed SKM ZG to move up to 5th position in Group D. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Konieczny is well-known by SKM ZG fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Damian Szymczak (186-PG-1995) of GKS Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgorne (#11). Szymczak got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Szymczak's great performance the Tarnowo Podg. lost 75-98 to the higher-ranked Miedzychod (#7, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Tarnowo Podg. ranking at the top of Group A, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Szymczak could help Tarnowo Podg. to bring them higher in the standings. Szymczak has a great season in Poland. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.4ppg (best scorer) and assists with 7.0apg (7th best).
