Tomasz Snieg's triple-double lands him 1Liga Player of the Week award

International Point guard Tomasz Snieg (190-PG-1989) had a very impressive game in the last round for GKS Tychy, receiving a Hoops Agents 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 37-year old player recorded a triple-double of 21 points adding also 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Inowroclaw (#4, 3-2) with 19-point margin 96-77. GKS is placed at 11th position in Polish 1Liga. Tychy is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. Snieg has many years of experience at GKS, through which he has constantly improved. Tomasz Snieg averages this season 10.6ppg and 5.0apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Brian Moore Jr. (188-G-2001) of KKS Resovia Rzeszow. Moore Jr. had a very good evening with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Rzeszow lost that game 98-106 to the higher-ranked Pelplin (#8, 3-2). Rzeszow are still at the very bottom. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Moore Jr. is a newcomer at Rzeszow, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward DJ Campbell (190-F-2000) of Weegree AZS Politechnika Opolska (#15). Campbell got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. He was a key player of Opole, leading his team to a 84-78 win against the higher-ranked Lodz (#3, 4-1). Opole can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Campbell has individually a great season in Poland. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.2ppg (best scorer).
