Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Warszawa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Warszawa edged 11th ranked Sosnowiec at home 81-79. Warszawa had a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American Erika Davenport (186-1997, college: Marquette) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import guard Martha Burse (168-1996, college: Indianapolis) contributed with 23 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Aleksandra Ziemborska (182-2000) replied with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Sosnowiec. Undefeated Warszawa (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Sosnowiec lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Bydgoszcz. Sosnowiec will play next round against Lodz trying to get back on the winning streak. Warszawa will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Lublin on the road.
Bydgoszcz's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Lodz (2-3) on the road game in Lodz 65-59. American guard MarShay Moore (173-1995, college: Oregon) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Katrina Ozola chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Isis Beh (190-2001, college: Arizona) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Bydgoszcz (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with Sosnowiec. Newly promoted Lodz keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Bydgoszcz will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lodz will play on the road against Sosnowiec (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked J.Gora is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Poznan (4-1) 97-38 on Sunday evening. Aleksandra Pszczolarska notched 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Poznan's coach Wojciech Szawarski felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 9 points and 6 rebounds by Joanna Pawlukiewicz did not help to save the game for J.Gora. Poznan moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gorzow Wlkp. J.Gora at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Poznan will meet higher ranked Bochnia (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. J.Gora will play against Wroclaw (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: Torun smashed Pruszkow on the road 81-62. Wroclaw lost to Bochnia on its own court 81-89. Lublin unfortunately lost to Gorzow Wlkp. in Gorzow Wielkopolski 72-77.
