Both divisions (North and South) are coming to the end of each regular season. In the North 3 teams (Illiabum Clube, CD Povoa/MonteAdriano and AD Galomar) are still competing on a tough way to get promoted, on the other end of the board, Casino Figueira Ginasio and SC Vasco da Gama Porto are clearly the teams that at this point seem to be very near relegation. In the South we find CF Belenenses Lisboa leading, they just swept any team so far, but untill the end of regular season 4 tough games are coming their way. Clube Atletico Queluz and Electrico FC are near, Electrico FC played some games without one of their imports Chance Anderson (201-F-98, college: Keiser, agency: DDOSS)), and loose games that probably weren't supposed to be lost. At the end of the table we find Coracao do Ribatejo and CBQ that are very near relegation.
Due to the Portuguese Federation decision of shorten down LIga Placard to 12 clubs, Proliga will relegate 4 teams to 1 Divisao this season. tough times for the ones that are down the table...
Desmond Ringer (206-F-94, college: Mercer) (Sampaense Basket) keeps being the MVP of Proliga with an average of 27,9 MVP points, followed by Thomas Bolte (Sport Lisboa Benfica) with 26,2.
Kamerom Williams (188-G-94, college: Ohio St.) (CD Povoa/MonteAdriano) is the best scorer with an average of 24 ppg and also the best Free-Throw shooter with 90% average.
In 2 points percentage we find Guilherme Saiote (02) (Sport Lisboa Benfica9 with an impressive mark of 70%, more impressive knowing that he's not an inside player.
The 3 points bets man is Francisco Teixeira (99) (SC Vasco da Gama Porto), untill now he average a tremendous 60%. Finally in rebounds Geremias Manjate (203-F/C-98) (Academia do Lumiar Lisboa ) is at the top with an average of 9,3.
