Joao Malheiro

Everything decided. SC Braga and SC Vasco da Gama Porto in the North and ABC Santo Andre and Clube Basket Quelez are the four teams that will now will play the finals on each zone. SC Braga will face Vasco da Gama in the North and SAnto Andre has CBQ ahead. The big surprise was the elimination of Guifes, they couldnt handle Vasco da Gama, specially Andrew Corum (201-F/C-1996, college: Virginia St.) and Hugo Ferreira that made two great games and took Vasco to the final. After a 28 points defeat on the first game Guifes take a new defeat by 18 points , big advantages, and above all those margins were not expected. braga made their job against Olivais. Broderick Robinson (185-G-1995, college: UMKC) and Xavier Francois (198-F-1995, college: CS Stanislaus) has always were great, but on this second game Joao Malheiro (192-F/C-1999) rise above all the expectations scoring 20 points and grabbing 13 rebounds!! A defeat by 24 points show the diference between both teams.
In the south ABC Santo Andre finally change the course of things. After being beated in the first game by Imortal, now playing at home they took care of things. on the second gane they won by 3 points on a very close and tough game, but on the third game their superiority was well present reflecting itself on a 18 points margin. On the second game of the series Diante Bah (204-C-1997, college: Rowan) was the main figure of the game and on the third game the spotlight will hit Ronnie Rousseau III (178-PG-1995, college: Antelope Valley). Nothing new, another day at the office for those two players that are carrying ABC Santo Andre to the top. CBQ finish the series on the second game. Playing at home they had a tough game but finish it winning by 5 points. They will go to the final against ABC Santo Andre has the underdogs, but Montijo was a good sparring partner to that final game. Pedro Silva on CBQ is being game after game after game their main weapon and he just did it again, followed by Eugene Campbell III (190-G-1996, college: NJCU) that was unable to take Montijo ahead but that changed his team completely since his arrival.
