Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Coimbra: Sampaense (#6) and Academica (#8). Sampaense (6-8) smashed visiting Academica (0-14) by 21 points 81-60. Sampaense dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Academica's 28. It was a great shooting night for Sampaense especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. American guard Markus Terry (188-1995, college: USC Aiken) scored 27 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Diogo Goncalves (200-1987) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Sampaense's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mateus Santana responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Sampaense moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lusitania. Academica at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Portimonense (9-5) against sixth ranked Benfica U23 (4-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Portimonense was defeated by Benfica U23 in a tough game in Lisbon 64-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Portimonense. Point guard Francisco Simes (180-2006) notched 26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and Tomas Silva supported him with 9 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Canadian guard Jayden Grewal (191-1999, agency: Promo Sport ID) did not help to save the game for Portimonense. Portimonense's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Benfica U23 maintains sixth position with 4-10 record. Portimonense at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Maia Basket.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Figueira da Foz. 4th ranked host Ginasio (8-6) was smashed by second ranked Illiabum (11-3) 93-66. The best player for the winners was Tope Arikawe who scored 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Akoi Akoi produced 13 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Illiabum maintains second position with 11-3 record having just two points less than leader Povoa. Ginasio lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Olhanense and Galomar.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 14: Maia Basket destroyed Sangalhos on the opponent's court 106-59. Povoa managed to outperform Lusitania in a home game 82-72. CAB Madeira managed to beat Galomar on the road 86-78. Olhanense crushed Queluz on its own court 88-69. Santo Andre was beaten by Imortal U23 in Albufeira 78-69.
