Nadezhda Orenburg (PBL) re-signed 33-year old Spaniard point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84, agency: ProDep Management). She played there last season. Ygueravide managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). In 26 PBL games she averaged 9.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Ygueravide also played 14 games in Euroleague where she had 10.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.2apg (top 3) and 1.0spg. And finally she contributed to 2 games in Eurocup where she recorded 12.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg.
The previous (16-17) season Ygueravide played at Wisla Krakow in Polish BLK. Similarly like in the last season, the team also played in three different competitions that year, and she was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 35 games she got 8.9ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.0apg and 1.1spg. Ygueravide contributed to her team winning the Cup and make to league final. Good season as she was selected League Player of the Week. Ygueravide also played 14 games in Euroleague where she got 13.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 6.4apg (top 2) and 1.3spg. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Honorable Mention. And finally Ygueravide contributed to 2 games in Eurocup where she got 11.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.0apg and 1.0spg.
Ygueravide also represented Spain at the Qualifications to European Championships 2017 two years ago.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Ygueravide experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Latin American leagues. Ygueravide has played previously professionally in France (Pays d'Aix), Turkey (Besiktas, Mersin BSB, Botas, Edremit and Hatay), Spain (Hondarribia Irun, Jopisa Burgos, ASEFA Estudiantes and CREF Hola) and Ecuador (Santa Maria).
