SBC Round 18 (Regular Season): Edinburgh K. is upset by Renfrew R.

The Regular Season in SBC is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Renfrew between third ranked Edinburgh Kings (9-6) and fifth ranked Rocks (10-8) on Sunday night. Edinburgh Kings were crushed by Rocks on the road 90-57. Renfrew R. have a solid three-game winning streak. Rocks moved-up to fourth place. Edinburgh K. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Renfrew R. are looking forward to face league's leader Sony Centre in Falkirk in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Edinburgh K. will play on the road against Paisley (#3) in St Mirren and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Undefeated leader Sony Centre Fury delivered the sixteenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Dunfermline Reign (7-11) 88-71. Undefeated Sony Centre (16-0) have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Dunfermline R. at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Sony Centre will play against Renfrew R. (#4) in Renfrew in the next round. Dunfermline R. will play on the road against Grampian I. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in South Lanarkshire supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked St Mirren (10-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Blues (1-14). St Mirren smashed Blues 115-89 on Sunday. St Mirren moved-up to third place. Caledonia B. lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Paisley will meet at home Edinburgh K. (#5) in the next round. Caledonia B. will play against the league's second-placed Boroughmuir in Edinburgh and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 18 bottom-ranked Grampian I. was crushed by Boroughmuir in Edinburgh 90-71.

Blaze maintains second position with 12-4 record having four points less than leader Sony Centre F. Grampian I. lost sixteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Boroughmuir will meet at home Caledonia B. (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Grampian I. will play against Dunfermline R. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
