Experienced International Center Alica Moravcikova (189-C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Piestanske Cajky and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 32-year old center had the game-high 15 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Piestanske C. in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Kosice (#9, 0-6) with 61-point margin 98-37. Piestanske C. maintains the 3rd position in Slovakian Extraliga. They are still close to the very top. Piestanske C. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. Moravcikova has many years of experience at Piestanske C., through which she has constantly improved. Alica Moravcikova averages this season 8.4ppg and 6.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Josie Hill (188-C-2003) of BK Klokani Ivanka pri Dunaji. Hill impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Klokani to edge slightly lower-ranked Trencin (#8, 1-6) by 5 points 72-67. Klokani's 6th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Hill is a newcomer at Klokani and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

She was a key player of Ruzomberok, leading her team to a 73-68 win against #1 ranked Young Angels in a game of the week. Ruzomberok started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Yatskovets turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Yatskovets has a great season in Slovakia. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.2rpg (7th best). She also has 2.5spg and a FGP of 59.2%.
