Sedminek's 19 points give her Player of the Week award

19-year old point guard Brina Sedminek (173-PG-2007, agency: LBM Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Akson Ilirija Basketball and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 19 points adding three rebounds and two assists for Ilrija in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Skofja Loka (#6, 0-3) with 30-point margin 87-57. Ilrija is placed at 4th position in Slovenian SKL. Ilrija is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. Sedminek has many years of experience at Ilrija, through which she has constantly improved. Sedminek has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (9th best: 11.3ppg) and averages solid 76.9% FGP.

The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Zibert is one of the most experienced players at Skofja Loka and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.5ppg (#4). She also recorded 5.0 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Iva Slonjsak (184-SG-1997, agency: LBM Management) of league's leader ZKK Cinkarna Celje. Slonjsak scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was a key player of Celje, leading her team to a 64-38 easy win against #3 ranked Maribor in a game of the week. Celje started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Slonjsak turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Slonjsak has a great season in Slovenia. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 6.0rpg (8th best) and assists with 3.5apg (5th best).
