Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most important game in the last round took place in Maribor between third ranked Jezica (1-2) and sixth ranked Maribor (2-2) on Friday night. Jezica was defeated by Maribor in a tough game on the road 68-72. Maribor forced 34 Jezica turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Jezica helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nylah Young (180-2001, college: William & Mary, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Aneja Stojko (167-2003) who added 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 steals during the contest. At the losing side forward Julija Pokleka (182-2006) responded with 14 points. Jezica's coach Slavko Duscak tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Maribor moved-up to third place. Jezica at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Odeja KED and Domzale. Maribor are looking forward to face Odeja KED (#4) in Skofja Loka in the next round. Jezica will play at home against Domzale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Celje's (#2, 3-0) victory against 3rd ranked Domzale (1-2) 76-45. The winners were led by the former international point guard Lea Bartelme (178-2005) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and Maja Uranker supported her with 14 points. Even 9 points by forward Spela Berus (180-2003) did not help to save the game for Domzale. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Celje have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (3-0) keeps a position of league leader. Domzale at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Odeja KED and Jezica. Celje will play against league's second-placed Triglav in Kranj in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Domzale will play on the road against Jezica in Ljubljana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Ljubljana was also quite interesting. Second ranked Triglav (3-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Ilrija (1-3). Triglav managed to secure a 5-point victory 50-45 on Saturday. Lara Bubnic fired 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tanja Valancic produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Triglav maintains second position with 3-1 record having just one point less than leader Celje. Loser Ilrija dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. Triglav will meet league's leader Celje on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ilrija will have a break next round.
