Stojko number one in Slovenia SKL for round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Guard Aneja Stojko (167-G-2003) had a great game in the last round for AJM Maribor, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, eight rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to edge out Jezica (#6, 1-2) 72-68. Maribor is placed at 3rd position in Slovenian SKL. Maribor is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Stojko had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Maribor, through which she has constantly improved. Aneja Stojko has solid league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 7.3rpg), assists (9th best: 3.0apg) and averages impressive 6.5spg and 68.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international point guard Lea Bartelme (178-PG-2005) of league's leader ZKK Cinkarna Celje. Bartelme is one of the most experienced players at Celje and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international center Lara Bubnic (190-C-1999) of league's second-best Triglav Vadoli Kranj. Bubnic scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of Triglav, leading her team to a 50-45 win against the lower-ranked Ilrija (#7, 1-3). Triglav needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Bubnic has a great season in Slovenia. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.0rpg (4th best).
