Burgar number one in Slovenia SKL for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

Shooting guard Ajda Burgar (177-SG-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Triglav Vadoli Kranj, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Domzale (#7, 1-7) 79-65. Triglav maintains the 2nd position in Slovenian SKL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Triglav will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Burgar had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Triglav, through which she has constantly improved. Ajda Burgar has solid league stats. She is in league's top in assists (8th best: 3.1apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young Zoja Stirn (178-PG-2005) of league's leader ZKK Cinkarna Celje. Stirn had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 10 assists. Of course she led Celje to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Maribor (#4, 4-5) 89-69. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Celje consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. She plays for the best team in the league and Celje managed to win all 8 games keeping a perfect record. Stirn is one of the most experienced players at Celje and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Celje's star - Brazilian forward Thayna Silva (180-F-1996). Silva scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was another key player of ZKK Cinkarna Celje, helping her team with a 89-69 easy win against #4 ranked Maribor. Celje have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Silva turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Silva has a great season in Slovenia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.4ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 7.6rpg (6th best). She also has 2.7spg and a FGP of 68.8%.
