Uranker's 21 points and 6 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

17-year old point guard Maja Uranker (182-PG-2007) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team ZKK Cinkarna Celje and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had the game-high 21 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Celje in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Triglav (#2, 7-4) with 49-point margin 93-44. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Celje to consolidate first place in the Slovenian SKL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Celje keeps a perfect 10-0 record. Uranker has many years of experience at Celje, through which she has constantly improved. Maja Uranker averages this season 10.5ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Thayna Silva (180-F-1996). She is Brazilian forward in her first season at Celje. In the last game Silva recorded an impressive 13 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Uranker she helped ZKK Cinkarna Celje with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Triglav (#2, 7-4) 93-44. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Celje consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. She plays for the best team in the league and Celje managed to win all 10 games keeping a perfect record. Silva is a newcomer at Celje and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.8ppg (#5). She also registered 7.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Ana Saric (185-PF-2000) of league's second-best Triglav Vadoli Kranj. Saric scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Saric's great performance the Triglav lost 44-93 to #1 ranked Celje. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Triglav needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Saric has a great season in Slovenia. After 11 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (7th best).
