Demirovic's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

16-year old Serbian center Andjela Demirovic (191-C-2008) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team ZKK Cinkarna Celje and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
She had a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds, while her team crushed Jezica (#5, 4-14) with 23-point margin 80-57. It allowed Celje to consolidate first place in the Slovenian SKL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Celje keeps a perfect 17-0 record. It's Demirovic's second year at Celje and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Andjela Demirovic averages this season 11.1ppg and 5.2rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Lejla Pamic (180-G-1999) of Odeja KED Skofja Loka. She is a guard in her first season at Odeja KED. In the last game Pamic recorded an impressive 16 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Odeja KED lost that game 54-73 to slightly higher-ranked Domzale (3-14). This loss caused Odeja KED to slide to the very bottom (7) position in the standings. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Odeja KED managed to get this year. Pamic is a newcomer at Odeja KED and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to another Celje's star - guard Maja Uranker (182-PG-2007). Uranker scored 19 points and passed 5 assists. She was another key player of ZKK Cinkarna Celje, helping her team with a 80-57 easy win against the lower-ranked Jezica (#5, 4-14). Celje have amazing season winning all 17 games without a single defeat. Uranker turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Uranker has a very solid season. In 14 games in Slovenia she scored 10.8ppg. She also has 3.1apg, 2.1spg and a FGP of 60.0%.
