Vrecer's 21 points and 6 assists give her Player of the Week award

23-year old forward Manca Vrecer (178-F-2002) put on an amazing game in the last round for Triglav Vadoli Kranj and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had the game-high 21 points adding three rebounds and six assists for Triglav in her team's victory, helping them to beat Maribor (#3, 4-2) 70-60. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Triglav maintains the 4th position in Slovenian SKL. Triglav is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Vrecer has many years of experience at Triglav, through which she has constantly improved. Vrecer has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 14.9ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 44.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Shawnta Shaw (157-G-2000, agency: Interperformances) of top-ranked ZKK Cinkarna Celje. She is American guard in her first season at Celje. In the last game Shaw recorded an impressive 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course she led Celje to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Skofja Loka (#5, 1-6) 78-51. Of course Celje still keep the league's top spot. She plays for the best team in the league and Celje managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Shaw is a newcomer at Celje and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#3). Her other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Triglav's star - center Lara Kozina-Bubnic (190-C-1999). Kozina-Bubnic showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Triglav Vadoli Kranj, helping her team with a 70-60 win against #3 ranked Maribor in a game of the week. The chances of Triglav ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Kozina-Bubnic could help Triglav to bring them higher in the standings. Kozina-Bubnic has a great season in Slovenia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.9ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.0rpg (#1 in league).
