Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ljubljana: Ilrija (#2) and Jezica (#6). Jezica was defeated at home 62-68 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for Ziva Misjak (177-2005, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Mia Zeks (175-2004) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Ilrija's coach Ernest Novak used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Manca Marolt (179-2005) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Ilrija maintains second place with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Celje. Jezica at the other side stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Ilrija are looking forward to face league's leader Celje at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jezica will play against Triglav (#3) in Kranj and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Very significant was Ilrija's (#2, 8-3) victory against 4th placed Maribor (5-6) 58-53. It was an exceptional evening for Bosnian center Jana Guska (193-2005) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Mia Zeks accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Ilrija's coach Ernest Novak allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Destiny Thompson (180-1997, college: Georgian Court) came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds for Maribor in the defeat. Ilrija maintains second place with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Celje. Maribor at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Ilrija will play against league's leader Celje at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maribor will play against Skofja Loka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
