Dragar number one in Slovenia SKL for round 14

Point guard Anja Dragar (180-PG-2003) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Triglav Vadoli Kranj, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, while her team crushed Ilrija (8-5) with 25-point margin 75-50. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Triglav is placed at 2nd position in Slovenian SKL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Triglav will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. In the team's last game Dragar had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Triglav, through which she has constantly improved. Anja Dragar has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 12.5ppg), rebounds (8th best: 5.5rpg) and averages impressive 58.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Tina Tomsic (175-G-2004) of ZKD Jezica Ljubljana. Tomsic had a very good evening with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course she led Jezica to another comfortable win 71-57 over slightly higher-ranked Skofja Loka (#5, 3-12) being unquestionably team leader. Despite this victory they still are the league outsider. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Jezica managed to get this year. Tomsic is well-known at Jezica and is a proven leader in her second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Urska Zibert (174-G-1993) of Domel Skofja Loka (#5). Zibert scored 17 points and passed 5 assists. Despite Zibert's great performance the Skofja Loka lost 57-71 to slightly lower-ranked Jezica (#6, 2-13). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Skofja Loka can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-12 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Zibert has individually a great season in Slovenia. After 15 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.1apg (best passer).

10. Lena Grebenc (170-PG-2006) of Triglav - 12 points and 2 assists
