The Regular Season in Liga OTP banka is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kranj: Sencur Gor. (#3) and Triglav (#5). Triglav was defeated at home 62-72 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Sencur Gor. forced 19 Triglav turnovers. They maintain third position having six points less than leader Krka. Triglav lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 12 games lost. Sencur Gor. are looking forward to face league's leader Krka in Novo Mesto in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Triglav will play on the road against the league's second-placed Ilirija (#2) in Ljubljana and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Novo Mesto. First ranked Krka faced 4th ranked Helios Suns. Host Krka (21-1) smashed guests from Domzale (13-9) 102-81. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jan Rebec (192-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 assists. Oman Urban contributed with 14 points and 5 steals for the winners. Krka's coach Dejan Jakara felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Alen Malovcic (198-2002) replied with 12 points and 4 assists for Helios Suns. Krka have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-1 record. Helios Suns at the other side keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Krka will play against Sencur Gor. (#3) in Kranj in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Helios Suns will play at home against Hopsi Polzela and hope to get back on the winning track.

Ilirija have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Krka. Loser Zlatorog dropped to the sixth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Sentjur. Ilirija will meet at home Triglav (#5) in the next round. Zlatorog will play against Sentjur and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
