Ziva Misjak signs at Celje

ZKK Cinkarna Celje (SKL) signed 21-year-old 177cm shooting guard Ziva Misjak, who previously played for Ilrija for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Misjak has spent the last four years playing at Ilirija. She helped her team reach the Slovenian League final, making it a successful season for her. Misjak received several awards, including Eurobasket.com All-Slovenian League Domestic Player of the Year, League Player of the Week (2 times), and was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Slovenian League Second Team. In WABA, she played 8 games and averaged 11.5ppg, 7.0rpg, and 5.0apg. Despite finishing the regular season in second place, Misjak's team won the WABA championship, with her contributing significantly. She was recognized as Eurobasket.com All-WABA 2 Player of the Year, Finals MVP, and Guard of the Year, making it a highly successful season for her.
Misjak represented Slovenia at the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship in Konya (Turkey) three years ago. Her team won Gold and she averaged over 2 points per game.
