Lundquist-Holm's 21 points and 6 rebounds give her Player of the Week award

27-year old Swedish guard Klara Lundquist-Holm (173-G-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for Azul Marino Sant Josep Palma de Mallorca and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had the game-high 21 points adding six rebounds and four assists for AzulMarino in her team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Araski (#16, 0-6) with 22-point margin 91-69. Thanks to this victory AzulMarino moved-up to the 3rd position in Spanish LF Endesa. They are still close to the very top. AzulMarino would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. Lundquist-Holm turned to be AzulMarino's top player in her first season with the team. Klara Lundquist-Holm averages this season 18.2ppg, 8.0rpg and 6.0apg.

Second best performed player last round was Elena Bosgana (193-F/C-2003) of Lointek Gernika Bizkaia. She is Greek forward in her first season at Gernika. In the last game Bosgana recorded an impressive 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led Gernika to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Estudiantes (#11, 2-4) 101-67. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Gernika managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 9th place. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bosgana is a newcomer at Gernika and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to center Virag Takacs-Kiss (195-C-1998) of Valencia Basket Club (#4). Takacs-Kiss scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Valencia, leading her team to a 81-52 easy win against Celta Zorka (#15, 0-6). Valencia is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Takacs-Kiss has a great season in Spain. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.7rpg (7th best).
