There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of TBL and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Goztepe smashed TED Ankara in Izmir 85-64. Goztepe had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American center Jamari Traylor (203-1992, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American-Central African guard Isaiah Washington (185-1998, college: LBSU) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) answered with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for TED Ankara. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TED Ankara will play next round against Balikesir BBS trying to get back on the winning streak. Goztepe will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Fenerbahce 2 (2-1) recorded a loss in Bursa. Visitors were edged by Final Spor (1-2) 75-74. It was a great evening for guard Gokay Hacioglu (208-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Final Spor will play against Darussafaka (#5) in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fenerbahce 2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Cedi Osman.
