The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Yalovaspor (28-6) in Istanbul on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by fifth ranked Fenerbahce 2 (18-17) 85-84. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Yalovaspor. Fenerbahce 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Yalovaspor's 26. American guard Mike Davis (193-1996, college: Queens, NC) scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ed Croswell (203-1999, college: Providence) chipped in 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Gaziantep (#4) was upset in Bursa by seventh ranked Final Spor 89-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gaziantep. American center Brendan Medley-Bacon (213-2000, college: NCCU) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and Ahmet Tunali supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Koray Cekici (186-2002) did not help to save the game for Gaziantep. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Spor (17-17) moved-up to sixth place. Gaziantep at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost.
Bottom-ranked Ormanspor managed to get the second consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they won against thirteenth-ranked Bornova in Izmir 99-84. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 15-point difference proves that Ormanspor was well-prepared to that game. Mertcan Solkol fired 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Ormanspor's coach Fikret Karacam used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Enis Col produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for lost side. There were no shocking results in the other games in round 34: Igdir lost to Haremspor on the opponent's court 72-82. TED Ankara managed to outperform Erokspor in a home game 94-85.
