Cuic is back at Botas

Claudia Cuic

Botasspor Adana (KBSL) has agreed terms with Claudia Cuic for the new 2024-25 season. The 34-year-old Romanian forward, who stands at 182cm, is an experienced ex-international player. Cuic is making a comeback to Adana, where she has played before. Last season, she played for Bellona Kayseri Basketbol in the KBSL, putting up impressive stats in 23 games: 16.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.8spg. She also played 12 games in Eurocup, with remarkable stats of 17.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.1spg.
During the 2022-23 season, she spent time playing for IDK Euskotren in the Spanish league. She also briefly played for Bursa Uludag Basketbal.
She was also a member of the Romanian international program for some years. She played for the Romanian Senior National Team between 2008 and 2019 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2009.
She also represented Romania at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2017 eight years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 12.5ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.0apg, 2.3spg, FGP: 59.3%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 75.0%.
