Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul (KBSL) has added 27-year old American forward Brianna Fraser to their roster for the 2024-25 season. She also holds an Azerbaijan passport and stands at 190cm. Fraser, who played college basketball at Maryland, is the second foreign player on the team alongside South Korean Ji-Su Park. She most recently played for MKS Polkowice in the Polish OBLK, where she averaged 14.7ppg, 4.6rpg, and 2.0apg in 25 games last season. Fraser helped her team win the BLK title and the cup, earning her a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-Polish OBLK Honorable Mention team. In Euroleague play, she averaged 15.5ppg, 6.2rpg, and 1.7apg in 15 games, leading to her selection to the Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Honorable Mention team.
Seven years ago, she represented Azerbaijan at the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan. During the event, she averaged 9 points per game and had 3.8 rebounds per game.
She is a very experienced player, thanks to her professional career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in five different countries. She has played professionally in France (Flammes), Hungary (Vasas Akademia), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), and Romania (ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe).
Among many awards, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Forward of the Year in 2022.
She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2019 and this will be her sixth season in professional basketball.
