Cayirova Belediye (TBL) agreed terms with 30-year old point guard Merthan Mutlu (190cm-1994) for new 2024-25 season. Mutlu played last season at Konyaspor in BSL. However his team was relegated to TBL. In 33 games he had 14.0ppg, 3.7rpg and 3.9apg. TBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Balikesir Buyuksehir Belediyespor where in 32 TBL games he recorded 8.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.1apg in that year.
He has played previously for eight other teams: Darussafaka Lassa, Best Balikesir, Bandirma, Konya BBSK, Akhisar Bld, Buyukcekmece, Afyon and Meliksah.
