Horobets is back at Tim-Scuf

Vita Horobets

Tim-Scuf Kyiv (Higher League) signed 20-year old Ukrainian international shooting guard Vita Horobets (179-96, agency: LBM Management). It is actually her comeback to Kyiv as she has played here before. Horobets has played for the last two seasons at Kibirkstis-VICI-IKI Vilnius in Lithuania LMKL. In 30 games she had 4.3ppg and 2.3rpg last season. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Horobets also played 6 games in EEWBL where she recorded 4.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.8spg.
Despite young age Horobets had impressive career. She was voted Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U16 Division B Honorable Mention back in 2012.
She has been also a member of Ukrainian international program for some years. Horobets has regularly played for Ukrainian senior team since 2015 and previously for U18 National Team between 2013 and 2014.
She also represented Ukraine at the European Championships U20 Division B in Podgorica (Montenegro) this year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 8.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.0apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 25.0%, 3PT: 31.6%, FT: 77.8%.
