VIKTORIIA SHMATOVA

BK Rivne (Superleague) confirmed in their roster 31-year old Kazakhstani guard Viktoriia Shmatova (172-78kg-87). She was a team leader there last season. In 22 Superleague games she was fourth best scorer with impressive 18.7ppg and averaged 4.5rpg, 5.7apg (top 2) and 1.4spg. Shmatova helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in her career as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague 1st Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). She also played for MKK Siedlce in league where in 9 games she was fourth best scorer with 3.3ppg and had 1.9rpg and 1.6apg (top 2).
Shmatova won Kazakhstan League championship title in 2016.
She represented Kazakhstan at the European Championships in Hungary and Romania three years ago.
Shmatova has played also professionally in Belarus (Olimpia), Ukraine (Dynamo-NPU Kyiv and Regina-Basket Bar) and Kazakhstan (Okzhetpes, Irtysh and Astana Tigers).
